“Little Lonely” was one of the hottest records ever to come out of the west coast and had broken wide-open in the San Francisco area on KYA Radio. It became pick of the week on 88 radio stations all over the Country. Over 400 Fan Clubs were working for Chad and he was invited to appear for station KOL, opening weekend at the World’s Fair.

He began appearing in all the Teenage Magazines popular at the the time. His picture appeared in “Dig”, “Teen”, “Teen Screen”‘ “16”‘ “Movie Teen Illustrated”, and many others. Chad went on to tour with his friends Dick and Dee Dee, Glen Campbell, The Lettermen, The Righteous Brothers and Ray Stevens.

After touring for two years, he formed the group, “The Chadons”, with two beautiful singers Tisha and Cindy. They traveled from Alaska to the Orient for 10 years, starring in the top Nite Clubs in the Country.

Chad’s favorite gig was supporting Don Rickles at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas.

The Chadons had many records out in the 60’s, which Chad wrote and arranged. In the 70’s, Chad traveled alone for ABC for 2 years across the Country. For awhile, he had his wife, Geri, and her 3 kids in the act, and they were known as “THe Allens”. In the 1982, he teamed up with Gary Heath and they were known as “Chad and Gary”. They recorded an album, “contrast”, and they appeared in the Top Hotels and Nite Clubs in the Palm Springs, Ca. area.

Chad and Gary still live in the Palm Springs area in the town of La Quinta. They are now visual artists and exhibit their hand painted Patio Umbrellas and Accessories through the La Quinta Arts Foundation. The website is canvasinthegarden.com.
